See who read the deck, slide by slide.
Share a Coadie deck as a link and you see who opened it, which slides they read, how long they stayed on each, and whether they reached the end, on any device and with nothing for the reader to install. Readers are told what is recorded before they start.
What does Coadie measure?
| Question | What you see |
|---|---|
| Visits | Each visit, by person, including when someone comes back |
| Slides seen | Which slides each reader reached |
| Time on each slide | Seconds spent on every slide they opened |
| Read to the end | Whether they finished the deck |
| Device and time zone | The kind of device and browser, and the reader’s time zone |
| Live reading | Reading Now and Follow show a reader moving through the deck as it happens |
| Calculator inputs | On a deck with a calculator, the numbers the reader tried |
Reports show which slides are used most across your decks. Alerts arrive in the app and by email, and on Enterprise in Slack or Microsoft Teams.
How do readers identify themselves?
When a shared deck opens, the reader sees a short card that says exactly what is recorded. They can type their name and email, tap their name on a list you made, or skip. A reader who skips still reads everything; their visit is measured without a name. You can add a passcode to a link, or switch the name question off.
Coadie does not store a reader’s internet address and does not look up where they are. The name and email are what the reader typed, not checked, so treat them as what the reader told you.
How do sales teams use slide analytics?
Send the deck as a link
One link per customer. Add a passcode if the deck is sensitive.
Watch for the first open
An alert tells you when it is opened, and by whom if they gave a name.
Read the pattern
Which slides held attention, which were skipped, who came back, and whether a new reader appeared, often a sign the deck was forwarded.
Follow up on what they read
Open the next conversation on the slide they spent longest on, not with “just checking in”.
Questions about slide analytics.
Can I see who viewed my presentation?
Yes, when it is shared as a Coadie link. You see each reader’s visits, the slides they reached, time on each slide and whether they read to the end. Readers can skip giving a name, and are then counted without one.
Do readers have to install anything?
No. A shared deck opens in any browser, on a computer or a phone.
Is slide analytics on the Pro plan?
Yes. Analytics of who read what is included in Pro. Logging visits to Salesforce or HubSpot, and Slack and Teams alerts, are Enterprise features.
Does tracking work on a PDF I email?
No. Reading is measured on shared links. A downloaded PDF or PowerPoint file is not tracked.
Is this legal and fair to the reader?
Every shared deck tells the reader what is recorded before they read, lets them skip giving a name, and stores no internet address. Readers can ask the sender to remove everything recorded about them.
