Your content stays yours. Your customers know what’s recorded.
Coadie is built for teams that put their name on what they send. That trust has to run both ways: to the company that owns the content, and to the customer who reads it.
Your customers are told what’s measured
Your customers are told what’s measured.
Told before they read
When a shared deck or document opens, the reader sees a short card that says exactly what is recorded. They can type their name and email, tap their name on a list the sender made, or skip.
Skipping keeps their name out, not their visit
A reader who skips still reads everything. Their visit is still measured, just without a name or email. The card tells them so before they choose.
Their word, not checked
Coadie doesn’t send a code or check the email address. You see the name and email the reader typed, so treat them as what the reader told you.
Clear about what’s recorded
For every reader: which slides they opened and how long they spent on each (for a document, how long they read and how far down they got), the kind of device and browser, and their time zone. On a deck with a calculator, the numbers they tried too.
No internet addresses
Coadie doesn’t store a reader’s internet address, and doesn’t look up where they are.
Some links skip the card
A sender can switch the name question off for a link. Then the deck opens straight away with a short line saying what is recorded, and the visit is measured without a name. On every shared deck, an ⓘ beside the slide controls says that it shares view activity with the sender.
A passcode, if the sender wants one
A sender can add a passcode. The reader types it each time they open the link. After 10 wrong tries in an hour, that browser has to wait an hour.
Small files in the reader’s browser
A shared link saves a few small files (cookies) in the reader’s browser: one remembers them on that link for a year, so their visits join up; one remembers a typed passcode until the browser closes; one counts wrong passcode tries for a day. None of them follows the reader to other websites.
Your content stays inside your company.
What you upload belongs to your company alone, and nothing crosses between companies.
Private by default
What you make is yours until you share it. One company can never see another company’s material. Every page and every search goes through the same single check.
Your file is read, then deleted
When you upload a deck, Coadie keeps its words, shapes and pictures so you can build from them. The original file is then deleted.
No one outside your company, unless you share it.
Only the people inside your company who have access can see your data.
Companies can share decks, slides, PDFs and documents with their own employees, and employees can share them with each other. No other customer can ever see your data. The only people outside your company who see it are the readers you send a link to, and the outside services named on this page, which see only what they need to do their job.
You decide what leaves Coadie.
Your CRM, your choice
If you connect Salesforce or HubSpot, one entry is written on the deal for each customer visit: who read it, when, and each slide’s title and time on it. A slide’s own words never go. Your administrator decides how much detail goes: everything, or just “opened” and “read to the end”.
Your channels, your choice
Slack and Teams alerts give the name the reader typed (or “Someone new”), which deck or document they opened, and the kind of device. They never say what a slide says.
Stock photos from Unsplash
If you put an Unsplash photo on a slide, it is shown from Unsplash’s own servers, so Unsplash can see each time someone views it.

Your rights, built in.
Download your data
Anyone can download a copy of their own details from their profile.
Delete on request
Your company’s administrator can delete a person. Their details are erased, and the administrator decides what happens to their work.
Readers can ask to be forgotten
The company that shared the deck can remove everything recorded about that reader in one step.
Nothing kept forever by accident
Deleted decks and files wait 30 days in the Trash, then are destroyed. Nightly backups keep a copy for 14 more days. AI activity, notices and sign-in records are cleared after 12 months.
Locked down at sign-in.
Two-step sign-in
Codes from an authenticator app, or single sign-on through your company.
Guessing is stopped
After 10 wrong guesses in five minutes, that email address is paused for five minutes.
Admin changes are recorded
Every change an administrator makes is kept on a record.
Secrets are protected
Passwords are stored scrambled so they can’t be read back, and connected keys are encrypted.
What this website measures.
This section is about this website, not the Coadie app.
No cookies until you choose
When you first visit, a card asks whether we may measure your visit. Until you press Accept, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. Reject is as easy as Accept.
With your OK: Google Analytics and Google Ads
We use them to learn which pages and ads bring people here and which lead to a demo request. They set cookies in your browser and send what pages you viewed to Google.
Without your OK
We use Google’s consent mode. Before you choose, or if you reject, Google may still receive basic signals that a page was viewed, without cookies and without identifying you, so we can count visits in total.
Where you came from, with a form
If you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, the campaign tags on the address are kept for that visit only and sent with the demo form, so we know which ad brought the request.
Change your mind any time
Your choice is remembered in this browser. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change it.
Marketing email is opt-in.
Nobody receives it unless they tick the box themselves.
We’ll walk you through it.
